Holy Moley! Do you have undesired moles or lesions? Let us help them disappear.

What are moles?

Moles are dark spots or irregularities found in the skin. Moles can come in different shapes and sizes. They can appear anywhere on the skin, from the face, nose, upper lip-pretty much anywhere on the face– and other body parts such as arms and chest, shoulders, etc.

Moles can be present at birth, while some can develop to over time. Moles can add character and even be considered attractive, like a “beauty mark”,  while  some moles go unnoticed. However, some moles can be considered  bothersome and unattractive to certain individuals.  Moles may even be of concerning health risk , and can actually be detrimental to a person’s health. Moles that rub against  clothing or other body parts can cause irritations and even get infected if pulled by accident.

Mole removal is a cosmetic surgery procedure that provides a solution to those wanting to improve their appearance and minimize associated health risks. It is a good idea to have a doctor diagnose the mole first to make sure it is not a sign of something more serious like melanoma.

Mole removal Options

Options for mole removal are by shaving them, cutting them out completely,  by addressing it with a laser.  Using medical lasers, a  cauterizes the mole, almost totally removing it. The treatment produces a scab in the mole’s place, which then falls off after around 7 days.

Benefits of Mole Removal

  • Removing protruding moles that get in the way of shaving.
  • Reducing skin irritation that can occur when certain moles rub against clothing or jewelry.
  • Achieving smoother, clearer skin.
  • Enhancing appearance and improving self-esteem.
