Facial Contouring using Restylane and Perlane with Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery Group

Looking for a more youthful appearance? Want to instantly get rid of deep lines and wrinkles? Are you interested in adding volume to your lips, cheeks, temples, or smile lines but you don’t want downtime, discomfort or pain to achieve this?                                   Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery Group has exactly what you are looking for!

Restylane-L and Perlane-L are hylaronic acid injectible gels that are made with 0.3% lidocaine which allows you to receive the results you’re looking for with minimal-to-no discomfort! Both Perlane and Restylane restore volume and fullness to the skin to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds.

How to see if Perlane and/or Restylane are right for you

First, make an appointment with our fully trained and experienced Plastic Surgeons, Doctors John Layke and Payman Danielpour, to set up an evaluation to see what is best for you and achieving your aesthetic goals. Upon your visit, Dr. Danielpour and Dr. Layke will evaluate your face and give you a treatment plan tailored specifically  to obtain a result you’re looking for. Depending on how many areas you inject will determine your treatment time. In most cases, the treatment itself is very quick (15-45 minutes), requires no anesthesia, and you can go about your business the same day.

What to expect following treatment

You may experience some swelling, tenderness, itching, pain or bruising at the injection site. These reactions usually last only a few days, however, they might last for as long as a few weeks. Some visible lumps may occur temporarily following the treatment.

You could experience increased bruising or bleeding at the injection site if you are taking aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as ibuprofen. These reactions generally lessen or disappear within a few days but may last for a week or longer. Unless prescribed by your doctor, it is recommended you avoid these medications for several days after your treatment.

If you are considering laser treatment, chemical skin peeling or any other procedure based on a skin response after any Hylaronic Acid Dermal Filler treatment, or you have recently had such treatments and the skin has not healed completely, there is a possible risk of an inflammatory reaction at the injection site.

After treatment, within the first 24 hours you should avoid strenuous exercise, extensive sun or heat exposure and alcoholic beverages. Exposure to any of these may cause temporary redness, swelling, and/or itching at the injection sites. If there is swelling, you may need to place an ice pack over the swollen area. Light make-up (preferably mineral make-up) and your normal skin care products can be applied and, the treated area can be gently washed with soap and water.

Most patients are pleased with the results of Dermal Fillers. However, like any cosmetic procedure, there is no guarantee that wrinkles and folds disappear completely, or that you will not require additional treatments to achieve the results you seek. While the effects of these fillers last longer than other comparable treatments, the procedure is still temporary. Additional injections will be required periodically, generally within 6-12 months to maintain optimal results.

Call us today to see if hylaronic acid dermal fillers, such as Perlane and Restylane,  are right for you! (310) 275-6600
