Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery Group specializes in body contouring procedures that can help re-sculpt your body to give it a more fit and trim look. If you have saggy skin, excess tissue, or localized deposits of fat after losing a significant amount of weight or due to other factors, body contouring can deliver results that might be elusive to you simply through exercise and diet.
Body contouring is more and more of a viable option to help patients achieve the figure they might have thought they’d lost forever. Each year over 100,000 people and counting choose to supplement their weight loss with a body contouring procedure.*
Are you a candidate?
Those most suited for body contouring at Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery Group are at a healthy, stabilized weight for at least six months. A good candidate for our body contouring procedure will be in good overall health and not engage in smoking. Patients who choose our practice will consult with Dr. Danielpour and Dr. Layke to develop realistic aesthetic enhancement goals. We will work together to make those ambitions a reality.*
Your Body Contouring Procedure
Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery Group’s body contouring process usually consists of several different, specialized procedures, and no two procedures are exactly the same. Each procedure is custom-tailored to the individual.
Your body contouring treatment can involve any combination of these unique procedures:
Liposuction — Suctioning excess fat from targeted areas of your body that are resistant to a healthy diet and exercise. You might also hear liposuction get referred to as “body contouring” by itself, though we can use the name as an umbrella term for additional procedures mentioned below. We can remove areas of localized fat through small incisions in the patient’s skin with a cannula. A cannula is a slender, hollow tube connected to a vacuum device. The result is a more contoured, slender look.*
Breast Lift — This is one of the more common body contouring operations done at Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery Group. We can correct sagging breasts, which will often happen after significant weight loss or other factors. We’ll remove excess skin and breast tissue if needed and create an aesthetically pleasing breast shape with the size that is desired. This procedure can not only revitalize the look but also the feel of breasts for women who are advanced in age, have experienced pregnancy or multiple pregnancies, or even weight fluctuations. There are a variety of different types of breast lifts and we will tailor the perfect plan just for you.*
Thigh Lift — We can reshape your thighs, giving them a more even proportion and shape. We can remove and reduce excess fat and skin to give you a sleeker frame. We can help you achieve more defined, toned skin, and symmetrical and proportionate thighs in relation to the rest of your body with this procedure. There are a variety of different types of thigh lifts and we will tailor the perfect plan to meet your goals.*
Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty) — This procedure can do wonders for the contours of your stomach by removing excess fat and skin and tightening you up from the inside and out. The tummy tuck procedure can also help tighten stretched and weakened abdominal muscles. We know that the midsection can often be the hardest area of the body to target with exercise and diet alone, so this procedure can accentuate the results of a good diet and rigorous exercise by giving you an even more flat and contoured abdominal look. There are a variety of different types of tummy tucks and we will tailor the perfect plan just for you.*
Arm Lift (Brachioplasty) — This procedure can help remove excess saggy tissues on your upper arm, which can effectively reshape your arm at the elbow to the underarm. The area can also be liposculpted for even better, trimmer-looking results. There are a variety of different types of arm lifts and we will tailor the perfect plan just for you.*
Buttocks Lift — This will provide you with a more toned, shapely butt created from your body’s very own excess fat from a liposuction procedure. This procedure can give you a more curvy, supple-looking butt. We can enhance both the size and shape of your derriere, an area that can often be one of the most difficult parts of the body to contour through diet and exercise alone.*
Recovery Process After Procedure
As with other surgical procedures, there is going to be some downtime to contend with, so make sure to schedule accordingly, but every patient is different and every procedure has a different recovery period. The length of recovery will depend on the number of surgeries we have performed. Patients can expect pain, swelling, bruising, and discomfort for the first few days. We will give you everything you need to ensure the most comfortable, effective recovery possible (consultation, medication, follow-up services, etc.). Most regular activities can be resumed after only a few days.
While you are recovering, please stay away from strenuous activity, exercise, heavy lifting, or excess bending of your body. It’s important that you get back on your feet as a part of your physical therapy, as a way to prevent blood clotting. All of this will be covered at length after your procedure.
